Walt and his family lived in the 500 block of Kenilworth Ave where the Righeimer family had moved to --504--and lived--so we were both neighbors and friends. We went to Emerson grade school. We played sports after school with John Argue--also on Kenilworth and with Bill Kortum on Wenonah. Walt was always a big guy and once fell into the Fish Pond at Emerson in kindergarden--pulling the teacher in too. All hell broke loose. Word is he could have been pushed, ha.
