In Memory

Warren John Brown

From John's wife:

It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that Warren passed away yesterday. I wanted to get this notice off to you before the phone rings and visits come. (Which I will greatly appreciate). We don't know exactly how he died, but we suspect a heart attack and complications from his COPD which had worsened this past month. He loved hearing from you, especially, but also Karen Muse and Nana. He delighted in your companionship and would often tell me about you and others, repeating himself.

We had 54 years together and have two wonderful kids and one biological granddaughter. They are hoping to be here this evening. (My son, fortunately, is in the country, and working in Vermont). He flew in during the last storm and will, with God's help, fly out in this one.
Thank you so much for being a wonderful friend.

John will be missed by so many he was one of the good guys, John and I had a bond through Lyttons clothing store. And about two years ago he sent me two hangers that he had from Lyttons and they said Lyttons on them priceless but just like John.

I remember John well from so many years ago. He was a stalwart, kind, and giving person then, and I am sure, throughout the rest of his life. God bless his memory and your family at this time of your grief.

Warm wishes, Stephen Byer

I remember John as a fine young man and citizen. We had few classes together because he was a far better scholar than I. But we spent a number of football afternoons at DOOPHS.

My sincerest condolescences to his wife and family. I know that John is now resting in eternal peace and that the day will come that we will all be joined together in the eternal light, kindness and love. I trust John to go forth and prepare the way for all of his fellow students. It will be a happy day for us all when we all are together once again.. Rest in peace my friend and once again my sincerest condolescences to all his family who were left behind in sorrow of his loss. Honor his memory and be thankful that we knew him.

My sympathy and prayers to John’s family.  It is a loss to this world but we know he is at peace now.
