After living in Virginia and working in the DC area for 30yrs we were ready for a change. N.C. has given that to us. We live in an area called Fearrington Village about 8 miles South of Chapel Hill. I'm in a singing group called the Village Voices, Women's Group, Arts and Crafts, Bridge, Knitting, 2 lunch groups. Bob and I are in a Casual Dinner Circle, Yacht Club (You don't have to own a boat--just want to socialize and take trips). Bob belongs to a Manhattan Club--yes it is just what you think it is, Kiwanis and he does work for our local food pantry. It does seem like a lot but we are loving every minute of it.
