Does anyone remember the actual date of our graduation? Please, if you do, let me know. I'm an Astrologer and I'm trying to draw up horoscopes for the date we entered as freshmen and our graduation date, and the date of our 50th reunion--Just for some fun stuff.
Thanks, Suzanne Duffy-Kane

Does anyone know about the whereabouts of Joyce Powell, or when you may have last been in touch with her? She did not graduate with us, but she was a member of our class. Please respond to me at my e-mail: msuzyduffy@mindspring.com

I didn't get a decent tape recorder until 1961, so all of the recordings I have of the OPRFHS orchestra and acapella choirs, were made in the 60's.

The Moving Finger writes, and having writ, Moves on:
nor all your Piety nor Wit, Shall lure it back
to cancel half a Line. Nor all your Tears wash out a Word of it.

- The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.

All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.

Political language - and with variations this is true of all political parties, from
Conservatives, [ Republicans, Democrats, Socialists, Zionists, Fascists] to Anarchists - is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.

- Politics and the English Language (1946) by George Orwell
