went to Columbia social work school right after graduation from U. of Michigan; worked in NYC for 15 years as social worker in psychiatric and medical hospitals. Went back in 1980 to get Ph.D. in social work at Bryn Mawr and taught social work practice at the University at Albany, State U. of NY for 20 years. Published and did research related to aging and interdisciplinary relationships and teamwork. Retired from Albany in 2004 and moved to Northampton MA where I have worked as an organizational consultant, grant writer and executive coach.

I married Jack Agueros, a poet, in 1964 but was divorced after several years. I do not have children although I have an informal foster daughter with whom I have been closely connected since she was 9 years old, now 28.

Hi Linda, it would be easy to know you in a crowd despite the passing of time. I would love to exchange emails if that works for you. jabramson@albany.edu It would be fun to catch up.

Hi Jos, I don't think we remember each other but I also became a social worker (MSW) Columbia) and worked in NYC for 15 years; then went back and got a Ph.D. in social work and taught (State U. at Albany), wrote and did organizational consulting...which I am still doing. It has been a wonderfully flexible profession for me. Best, Julie Abramson
